I was introduced to 21 Savage for the first time when watching the 2016 XXL Freshmen Cypher, and what struck me at first about him is his unappealing delivery style. Needless to say, I wasn't in a rush to listen to his stuff.<br><br>And now, here I am. And sure enough, he still sounds as flat and bored here as I remember the first time. What a surprise.<br><br>That isn't helped exactly by a rather basic and equally boring beat by Metro Boomin, who somehow gets equal crediting here. |
