*** I don't want to say it's to do with the song's perpetual vitality due to endless TV and movie placements, but gee I just can't listen to this anymore. Too much dodgy lyrics that sound like they were written by a teenager, and a musical bore. No more please. 2.7 Last edited: 09.09.2014 12:22
*** I'm going to say that my gut feeling is I am destined to dislike this song because of the Twilight connection. Trying to ignore that factor, while it is a pleasant listen it is a very boring listen as well. At least from the lyrics it seems Christina has at least seen the trailers to the movies, because my god the romance in this song is just as ridiculously sentimental as the words I read on one page of the books series while killing time in Big W. The uopside is there is no pointless guest rapper.
***** This is a nice song and I was glad for the long chart run. But that run did get a bit too long in the end. The great thing with this success is that it stopped any chance of a 'one-hit wonder' tag for Christina. 4.5* My 1001st review.
***** It took a few months to grow on me but when it did it would go on to become one of my favourites from 2012 and by then I didn't even care about the Twilight connection it had. A very nice track and a huge improvement from Jar Of Farts.
