sackstark! es gibt einfach sänger, bei denen lohnt sich das jahrelange warten auf ein neues album! jeder song extrem gut, wirklich positiv überrascht.

texte sind mir erstmal weitestgehend egal, solange mir das grundgerüst nicht gefällt. leider ist das album alles andere als vielseitig. nur die single hat mir supergut gefallen.

Schnörkelloses Album. Bleibt ihm zu wünschen, dass jetzt nicht Will.I.Am, Pharrell Williams oder Avicii an die Studiotür klopfen und UNBEDINGT eine Colab mit ihm anfangen wollen.

Die Scheibe schwächelt in der Mitte ein wenig, trotzdem solide vier Punkte.

This is actually pretty good - his voice may not be the best one out there, it's certainly unique but I wouldn't want to listen to it too much - but I'm surprised that I enjoyed this album so much. I think he tries to channel a little bit of Otis Redding in his ballads, and they are my favourite songs on here, along with Iron Sky which is strange and otherworldly (Better Man and One Day are fantastic). It borders on not really my thing, especially with the opening track, Scream, but for the most part it is a good decent listen. 4.1/6
